Fine-tuning my new system, which yields:

Wisconsin -14.5 2 units
NC- Charlotte -2 2 units
Arkansas +2 1 unit
Wyoming +2 1 unit (got this last night online)

Teasers

Wisconsin -10.5 and Charlotte +2 2 units
Wisconsin -10.5 and Duke -24 1 unit

Also,

Duke -26 1 unit (again, got it last night, non-system play, I will write-up and post plays for all Duke games this year, I will be like saint for UNC)

I would write this game up but I'm in a hurry. I would not play this game big either way, Duke should cover but could get backdoored. Daniel Ewing is closer to form after getting rid of his orthotic boot... this gives Duke more scoring punch and better quickness, which will be a plus. Fairfield has gotten rocked each of the past two meetings at Cameron, don't expect that to change, even if Duke gets off to a poor start. Look for Duke to continue their stellar defensive pressure and interior-shotblocking, although Deng Gai (cousin of Luol Deng) is a top-tier shot-blocker himself. You could make strong cases for either side, Fairfield has good value at the current line of 28.

Good luck all,
Grey

Almost swept my bets tonight, as I think my new system is very accurate. I also know Duke much better than the average bettor, I have been saying for a while now, this is the most talented team in the nation and it's not even close (Wake Forest, UConn, and UNC not far behind, although UNC has major depth issues). Will look to keep the system rolling tomorrow.

Thanks for the kind words, Rex. As always, Lute Olson has a team oozing with talent. I agree and think they will make a lot of noise in March, and they are looking stacked for next year. Lute is one of the coaches I respect most in college hoops, probably him and Izzo are the classiest, best coaches you can find (along with Coach K, but I might be biased there). Good luck to you as well,

thought duke would have a let down and duhon plays like jason kidd.randolph is playing big.met him last year-i live near his family-he was so down. this year he is healthy.believe it or not he can take redick sometimes shooting 3's.just doesn't try them in games.he and deng will only get better.dockery off the bench is a weapon.next yr wait til you see nelson and livingston.check out a 6.8 240 pound kid from oregon.a freshman in high school. kevin love.good chance he signs early.they really are playing like the best team in the nation.

lowell,
you're right on with what you said... duke is talented and the scary thing is they are getting better. if they don't lose anyone next year (Deng, Williams, Randolph), wow. livingston and nelson are unreal, i'd be suprised if livingston stays for more than 1-2 years. i hope duke gets love (nephew of the beach boy I believe), he sounds like a good kid with talent and loads of potential. best of luck,
