Hot Dog: Georgia +6 over Florida

The hot dog has thawed out and ready to be put on the BBQ Grill. The line was +4, but I waited for it to jump higher before I picked this one, I figure the public would originally jump on Florida, not only because of Thomas' suspension, but because Georgia is 4-4 in their last 8 games. Oh ayh, also the third reason why is because national tv plays a huge part in influencing people on which side they will pick the next day. People saw Kansas, a road favorite beat the spread on tv yesterday against a pretty good team in Texas, so that also has a lot to do with a lot of the public viewers to jump on Florida thinking the better team, despite being on the road, will cover the original spread once again.

Florida has a huge height advantage now, Georgia doesn't have a guy over 6'7" in their line up while Florida has a couple of big men. Hey, but Georgia beat Florida the last time without Thomas. Yes, Florida will have revenge on their minds, but still, this game is in Georgia. Georgia is a team of momentum, they go into Kentucky and Florida, and beat them both, and then they go into Vanderbilt and S.C. and lose those. What Georgia team will show up?? Not sure. If playing on tv and top spot in their conference isn't motivation enough for Georgia, I don't know what is. So lets look at Florida, will they show up? After getting an easy win against Vandy at home, it will take them time to get used to Georgia in the beginning of the game. Hmm, can Georgia hold off Florida the whole game though??? Even if they don't, I think they will hang tough and stay within distance. Heck, to me personally, I think this is an even game to me, this one could go either way with or without a pt spread, since their is one........give me the points!

I will ask you this only once, please stop antagonizing the good folks in the late night thread. It is always easy to say you faded their picks after the fact, problem is I saw no UNLV post in any of your threads prior to start of game. I NEVER post any derogatory comments in your thread or anyone elses for that matter, so I will ask you to show the same respect. I am sure your parents or grandparents taught you that if you dont have anything nice to say, then say nothing at all....great words to live by......dont give people a reason to slam you. Go on about your business and let others do the same. I think that if you simply post winners you will get all the attention you so desire, the rest of the histrionics needs to be put aside. good luck tonight, as I won't tell you whether I faded your picks tonight

I never picked UNLV, but I did pick 3 late night games in the past that the late night crew was playing. I should clear things up, I didn't fade the late night crew, I had my picks already and it just so happen that the 2 picks that won was opposite the late night crew picks. So in retrospect, it wasn't actually fading, just was on opposite sides. Have a nice day.

Not sure why you posted on this thread........I already posted a thread for Wednesday picks.

I pretty much given up on my chalk picks. So much backdoor covers, it's ridiculous!! So if I pick a chalk, most of them will probably be 1st half picks. The darn heavy favs just ain't motivated to hold the lead in the second half, it's pitiful. Virginia is hammering NC and they end up not covering.

I still have faith in my dog plays. Only my 2nd losing day overall in my last 11 days picking dogs. Pretty damn good, but I'm worried the gambling gods are watching and will curse me. Oh well.... we'll see.

It seems like everytime you have both lose, the next day your dog wins easy. I didn't see your picks today because I was off running to work.
Hell, I read your plays and look for the trends, so tonight I played both Northwestern and Clemson.
