(probable SP's subject to vaporization)

listed in order of diminishing temptation

phillies +107
cards +103
D'Backs -120
tigers +109
indians +105
Rox -115
Chisox -116
padres +113
Twins -142

---Kendrick(phil) has been great preseason while promising Norris has been crap; Astrosticks have come back down to earth after torrid spring start
--Carpenter(stl)'s last go of the spring--he's been decent; Familia for the Mets?...don't know, don't care
---Haren(Ariz) same as Carp--he's been solid until his last vs cubs; Lewis for texas is an anti-stud
---Willis(det) has been very good through 15 innings and surprisingly anti-wild; Bergesen was nsp(nothing special) until his last vs yanks; tigers hitting well this spring while the O's have been pathetic at the plate
---Talbot(clev) has been very good through 11.1 and must perform if he wants to save his baseball career; Davies has been shit through 11.2 and was nsp in '09; Royalsticks chilling some after hot start; injuns deceptively winning this spring
---Rox lefty Smith has been good this spring through 14IP and might still have outside chance to stay up; Stults has been nsp in 2 short outtings; Rox usually enjoy facing lefties and do so back-to-back after facing Rangers Harrison, with a B-lineup, if yaknowhatimean; Rox OPS this spring an MLbest .860 while dodgers is .707 (pre-Monday)
---Buehrle(CWS) has been nsp while Sheets has been dogshit; Chisox, not hitting well this spring, beat on dog Ortega while A's could do little against M's Vargas & co.
---Latos(sd) has been very good through 14 IP, though he was scratched from his last start (elbow); Harang has been shit through 3 (9ip), nevermind his 12-31 record the past 2 seasons; pads hitting better this spring, certainly including Monday (11 plated vs 1 plated), and promising LF Blanks finally nailed his first dinger
---Twins lefty Liriano has been good through 14 while pirates historically unimpressive Morton has been bad so far in 18.2; Twins hitting better this spring, though Pitt beat on Chacin Monday, and Mauer and Morneau got Monday off, though Justin ain't 100% right now; this last one is too pricey for spring training, especially with Pitt's outburst Monday

First 3 or 4 look happenin'.
Rest may be crapshootin'.

Sunday--better yet, Monday--can't come soon enough.
Mark me down for a phillies run-line in their opener.
det-KC under?...hmmm...

Mets' Tuesday press release states lefty Olie Perez is starting for the Mets.
Interestingly, they list the Cards' starter as
Christ Carpenter
I know the guy deserves some respect but this is maybe pushing it.

Cards look good either.
Best Metstick Beltran still a no-show.
Cards now at +111.
