Iowa St -2.5 over Texas **
Tough tough game to handicapp Texas has 4 gds that are solid. Hunter who was the B-12 Frosh of year now plays for the Longhorns after transferring from ISU He has been in a slump for Texas the past few games and has had leg cramps . ISU on defense is ranked 3rd in causing turn overs. But Texas has good gds . Think Texas has been playing at home and has been comfortable. Playing on the road to a packed gym will be challenging but Carr at the point shouldn't be bothered despite ISU getting turnovers. Both teams mirror themselves some what. Disu inside woke up and Allen at 6'6 is playing outstanding in the paint. Mitchell the 6'8 freshmen has been outstanding for Texas . He plays above the rim . ISU has Holmes at gd and he can score and pass. Grill can drill it from anywhere on the court. Kalscheur also can score. Inside Osunniyi at 6'10 could be a match up problem for the Longhorns.
Texas has rallied the past few games being down by double digits and won and covered. But at some point being down your going to catch a team that won't let you come back. Think in Iowa tonight could be that game. Think this Texas team is so talented with Carr on top. Rice ,Hunter and co at gds could be the best combo gds in the country. But inside is their weakness But ISI is a little better inside but not by much . Small play and with ISU 9-0 at home think they get a close win. Small play because Texas could easily win this game outright. Just think Texas hasn't been on the road to much and the confines of Moody Col vs Hilton will be the difference. Last yr they both split and won at home.

Flager and Cryer are so good Then you have George the best freshmen in the B-12 who is there leading scorer and some bigs in Thamba and co. TT although not winning is hungry and dangerous but love George and think Bears should win or at least cover.
Houston -10.5 over Tulane ***
Last yr Coogs beat them 86-66 by 20 Think the same tonight.
Kansas -1.5 over KSU **
This could be the year. State has Nowell and beating up on its brothers in the B-12 But Kansas owns KSU Last year 102-83. No strong plays tonight leaving for Philly tomorrow morning Daughter got me a box seat on Saturday at the Giants- Eagles game My son in laws construction company own an enclosed sky box with heated seats etc My daughter said I cannot wear my NY Giant Hat or hoodie since everyone is an Eagle fan. I actually thought about it for a few minutes and then said " no problem " I get to see my two grandsons for a few days.
