Tonight has some fantastic matchups where some lines look great!
Here we go with some explanation behind them:
Baylor -2.5 *** (3 Units)
This Bears team is dangerous and can play every facet of the game. The trio of Dunn, Udoh, and Carter is an incredible force. What Dunn has been able to sustain over the past month is remarkable and what has allowed him to maintain his play is one word "UDOH." This kid is something else and perhaps is one of the top 10 big men in the country. I feel the loss to Okie St took alot out of the Wildcats sail. Pullen has not been shooting as well as earlier in the year and has been undisciplined on the defensive end picking up fouls early. I think there are too many things that need to go exactly right for K-State to stay in this game until the final seconds.
Miami Ohio -3 *** (3 Units)
I like what the Redhawks bring to the table. They are big, athletic, and have been rigorously tested so far this season. They are 6-12 on the year, but lets not forget many of those losses came against Kentucky, Cincinnati, Xavier, Temple, New Mexico, Dayton, and Colorado. With 5 of those 7 losses on the road. They lost to Kentucky by 2, Cincy by 4, Xavier by 3, and Dayton by 6. Miami-O brings a superb backcourt to the table with Hayes and Ballard and then the inside presence of Mavunga has been enormous. Ball St has been enduring many problems with leading scorer Jones being anything but that lately. He has had 6 straight games where he has scored now in single digits with his FG% over that span being held to 28% (15-53). Perry and Watson have picked up some of the slack, but with so much inconsistency. Ballard has been crucial for the Redhawks as he has a knack for being in good position to rebound and start breaks. They are the better team and feel this line is not justified because of their record.
Maryland -8 *** (3 Units)
This team is for real. The determination of Williams squad has been profound. I like the inside outside play of Greivas and Millbourne. They have a great supporting cast and I strongly feel they are focused with the task at hand. The opportunity to win the ACC and continue their surge is something they have been harping on continuously. After the NC State game they were not getting overly excited because this team understands that this is what is expected of them. Miami does not match up well and will look to slow the game down, but I don't see that happening. Collins cannot do enough and has been getting in foul trouble as of late. The Terps have too many weapons and are playing at such a high level.
I have a couple more I will be playing later. Need some more time though to pick at it some more.
Good luck everyone! Let's have a strong showing.
Best,
Kaiser
