Tonight has some fantastic matchups where some lines look great!

Here we go with some explanation behind them:

Baylor -2.5 *** (3 Units)
This Bears team is dangerous and can play every facet of the game. The trio of Dunn, Udoh, and Carter is an incredible force. What Dunn has been able to sustain over the past month is remarkable and what has allowed him to maintain his play is one word "UDOH." This kid is something else and perhaps is one of the top 10 big men in the country. I feel the loss to Okie St took alot out of the Wildcats sail. Pullen has not been shooting as well as earlier in the year and has been undisciplined on the defensive end picking up fouls early. I think there are too many things that need to go exactly right for K-State to stay in this game until the final seconds.

Miami Ohio -3 *** (3 Units)
I like what the Redhawks bring to the table. They are big, athletic, and have been rigorously tested so far this season. They are 6-12 on the year, but lets not forget many of those losses came against Kentucky, Cincinnati, Xavier, Temple, New Mexico, Dayton, and Colorado. With 5 of those 7 losses on the road. They lost to Kentucky by 2, Cincy by 4, Xavier by 3, and Dayton by 6. Miami-O brings a superb backcourt to the table with Hayes and Ballard and then the inside presence of Mavunga has been enormous. Ball St has been enduring many problems with leading scorer Jones being anything but that lately. He has had 6 straight games where he has scored now in single digits with his FG% over that span being held to 28% (15-53). Perry and Watson have picked up some of the slack, but with so much inconsistency. Ballard has been crucial for the Redhawks as he has a knack for being in good position to rebound and start breaks. They are the better team and feel this line is not justified because of their record.

Maryland -8 *** (3 Units)
This team is for real. The determination of Williams squad has been profound. I like the inside outside play of Greivas and Millbourne. They have a great supporting cast and I strongly feel they are focused with the task at hand. The opportunity to win the ACC and continue their surge is something they have been harping on continuously. After the NC State game they were not getting overly excited because this team understands that this is what is expected of them. Miami does not match up well and will look to slow the game down, but I don't see that happening. Collins cannot do enough and has been getting in foul trouble as of late. The Terps have too many weapons and are playing at such a high level.

I have a couple more I will be playing later. Need some more time though to pick at it some more.

Good luck everyone! Let's have a strong showing.

Best,
Kaiser

Thanks Poon. I appreciate it bud.

Adding one more tonight:

N'western/Minnesota Over 133 ** (2 Units)
The pace is most definitely there. Northwestern has been playing with an uptick on their tempo and Minnesota is one of the few teams in the Big 10 that prefers a fast pace. At home the Gophers will control the pace and I feel Northwestern playing as well as they have offensively will be fine with that.

Best,
Kaiser

Tough night going 1-3. This is my first losing night and I want to apologize for the Miami Ohio game. From what I have seen of them this year, they are a better team than what showed up this evening. They were lethargic and rather than play sound defense they were a half step behind all night resulting in numerous fouls committed. So what did this cause you might ask? Well because of their piss poor effort on defense, they sent Ball St to the free throw line 37 times. That's right you heard me right... 37 TIMES! And to compound the problem, to end regulation as well as in the first OT, Miami-O went for a tough 3 BOTH times when they had plenty of clock to run their offense and get a good open look. They deserved to lose and I definitely deserved to lose the cover.

As for the other games, Kansas State played extremely well and showed great poise and looked like the team that we saw earlier in the year. They contained Dunn by smothering him and executed their game plan perfectly. Props to K-State.

Maryland came out with a vengeance tonight and honestly might have shown everyone that they are a team to be reckoned with for the rest of the season. The ACC should take note and be prepared to battle these kids from Maryland for the rights to sit atop this competitive conference. Easy cover. Give Coach Williams a lot of credit for how he has been able to instill so much confidence into this team. Go Terps.

So again I went 1-3 tonight for (-5 Units). Until tomorrow guys.

Best,
Kaiser
