Purple playing their 6th straight rd game...there best player and probably the best player in the MAAC ,Prochet is out sitting on the bench...Niagara lost to both St Francis's NY and PA's...there top scorer and re bounder is out and they win in the paint and out rebound Pitt 38-31..Tate and Towns the Puple gds get season highs in points and assists..Pitts coach only excuse was " we were flat after beating the lil Dukies...what..flat..Capel tires on the road get flat...you can't be flat vs one of the worst teams in a low D-1 conference..your a 16 pt favorite and playing at home.. Flat...wait until you play West Virginia at there place on Saturday....let me know if you guys are flat next week.... sorry..not making excuses..my bad with that pick...I feel like Iverson saying "practice,we don't need no practice.." Flat my ass... you beat Duquesne...Pitt was 0-18 in the conf last yr..you lost 24 games..you have been at Duke the last 7 years sitting next to Coach K...you got fired from OU and I forgot..sorry...and you will be sitting on your "flat ass " at the end of the year.. sorry about this...the older I get my wife says " your losing your filter"...damn right..back later..sorry for the pick and rant...Flat..

Clemson -22 over Peter ****
These 2 teams are a combined 0-13 ats so far...so someone has to win and cover..Clemson has 2 solid gds in Reed and Mitchell...both can score and pass...there also 6'3 and 6'4 sometimes the size of MAAC forwards..but they have 2 6'7 and 6'8 guys inside in Thomas and Simms and these kids weighin the 250 lbs..they avg double d's and and can rebound..Clemson lost a close game to Neb the other ite..played Creighton clse and beat Georgia...they do play some pretty gppd defense ..Peter was known for its defense but it has gone south since there coach went north to Poughkeepsie..they are giving up over 80 pts a game ranking them in the 300's...now Peter could never score and still can't avg 66 pts a game ranking them in the 300's..when Peter plays vs the big boys like Auburn and NC St they lose by 30 or more...same thing tonite..cannot see them keeping up with the tigers tonite..

South Dak St +3.5 over Memphis ***
Jackrabbits have been dominating over weaker teams..no doubt about it..Daum is still a lottery pick and Jacks front line is weak...but Jenkins and Flatten are solid gds and when the Dauminator gets hot he hits from the paint and 35 feet out..Memphis is more athletic and has 6'8 Davenport who ca score...but memphis can't shoot 3's and think there defense could be in trouble...think jackrabbits are tired of hearing the criticism about who you play and what conf are you in...Daum and company keeps this close ad think they might just beat memphis.

Radford _4.5 over JMU **
Watched this team beat Texas the other night...they have a few players that can put the ball on the floor...and then shoot...they made Texas who is much quicker,more athletic huge size difference looked bad..I'll admit I don;t follow the Big South but these guys can play...think they win this by double digits...there big guys ca score,..they penetrate,kick out rebound,etc...
