Virginia -7 over NC St *****
What can you say about UVA...they ,rebound well,have about 4 or 5 players that can score,distribute the ball better then anyone because the whole team avgs at least 1-2 assists each and most importantly never turn the ball over...thats why they are 18-1..Hunter ,Guy,Jerome,etc... FG% is close to 50%..and I haven't mention there defense..the best in the country...they shut down players...there offense is very deliberate and when you have a 6'5 pt gd in Jerome he see's the court..and another thing..these guys are quick..Wolf Pack have been inconsistent and are probably still celebrating their come from behind win the other day vs Clemson...its a double digit win on the road for the Cavs
Buffalo -11 over Ball St ***
Bulls tripped,got themselves back up and playing at home should blow Ball St back to Indiana..their uptempo style will be to much for Ball defense to stop..CJ,Harris and co roll at home..
KU +2 over Texas **
Both teams going the wrong way.. Texas has lost 5 of last 6,is 11-9 overall and 3-4 in the B-12... I heard on the radio the other day Shaka is 25-35 in B-12 games..they lost by 2 last time up in KU a few weeks ago and out rebounded KU by 9 bds..but Texas is so inconsistent...they turn the ball over a lot,shot selection is terrible..that can't shoot 3's or Ft's..but they have some talent..Ramey the frosh will start..Harris the big frosh could be a "one and done" kid..Roach attacks the hoop on every play but has a lot of turnovers,,they had 26 turnovers vs Geo the other day..they do play pretty good defense but then gave up 98 points to Geo the other day..KU is now learning to play w/o Udoke ..Lawson is tough inside and Dotson,Grimes and Vick are solid..but this isn't the old KU teams..they did beat TCU,Baylor and Texas w/o Udoke...but they are weak in the paint..I capped this game at KU -2 but its KU +2 so I'll grab the extra few pts...this is a huge game for Texas because being 3-5 in the B-12 could seal their fate...KU is is 5-2 but both teams ats records are bad..Texas is 1-6 ats in last 7 and KU is 1-5 in last 6...
Kentucky -9 over Vandy ***
Vandy is hurting...these guys just played each other and Kent won by 9 at home..but Kenty has been on a roll and Vandy has lost 7 in a row and coming off an Oklahoma loss 86-55..Vandy D is going to have some big problems tonite
Pitts +9.5 over Clemson **
the 2 last place teams in the SEC,,,its 11th vs 12th...last yr Clemson won at home 72-48..think Pitt has improved somewhat..but I'm banking on Clemson is still trying to figure out how they lost to NC St the other day..up 6 or 7 with 45 seconds left...
