Iowa St +12.5 over Texas **
The big question is are the Longhorns heads so big after beating up Kansas at their place. Ranked No 3 or 4. But Shacka has been telling his kids not to be complacent and over confident Texas is loaded. I said it before they have so much depth at all positions. Liddell the 6'8 fd transferred the other day. Hepa might follow. They already lost 5 star 6'11 Will Baker who transferred a few weeks ago. He last yr avg maybe 2 pts a game and although he was a top 40 player in the country he was slow with big feet. So the other day I am in Barnes and Noble in Austin and who is right next to me. Will I wanted to ask him where he is transferring too but chickened out Even with my mask on. I think he is going to Nevada. I would of told him go 25 south to Texas St . and think you can can play there. But anyway he is 6'10 and he was wearing shorts and his legs were big,not thin. He was with a girl who was about 6'4 maybe sister or girlfriend.
Anyway Texas played its A game and really dismantled Kansas . Texas 2 gds Coleman and Ramy are point gd and 2 gds. Both can shoot and penetrate . There other gd Jones who is 6'3 can shoot.. inside they have Sims who played outstanding vs KU and freshmen sensation Brown at 6'9. He only played 15=18 minutes in the Kansas game . They have 8 or 9 players and there big problem could be " there is only one basketball" They still take forced 3's and make bone head plays but the 3's were going in vs Kansas. Think Iowa St although has been blown out of by its cousin Iowa did play baylor close in a loss. Think 12.5 points might be to much for the Longhorns to win by. If both teams bring there A game Texas can win by 20.. Just don't think they can bring their A game back to back after Kansas blowout. small play.. though Iowa St is not that good .
Dayton -11.5 over Fordham ****
Game is at Rose Hill where the rams with fans would still have trouble. Maybe with no fans it could be an asset and advantage . Think White Castle across the street from Rose Hill might have more people . Dayton last yr was 29-2 . They lost Obi Toppin to the Knicks.. Of course he got hurt for the Knicks. But they lost OBI but still have Ibi
That is Ibi Watson a 6'5 gd that can shoot from anywhere and attack the basket.. Yes,be could hit a 3 across Fordham rd in the White castle parking lot and bank a shot. But Dayton has one of the best pt gds in the country Crutcher . Last year they called him and Obi " peanut butter and jam" Jam is on the Knicks but Peanut butter is till here. They have Zimil at 6'8 and a few others inside with size.
This team has the best backcourt in the A-10 and they play great defense. Rams are terrible. They can't score or play defense. Obi gone finally but Ibi is back
Rutgers +2 over Mich St **
Gotta love Rutgers.. Harper is the best player in the Big -10 He avgs 22 pts a game and shoots 53%.. Young looks like his father but has to be the fastest gd in the country. Johnson 6'11 inside just needs to avg his 8 or 9 pts get 8 or 9 rebounds a game. Mathis can shoot and Mulcahy is a 6'6 gd that can shoot and pass. Then you have one of my favorites Geo Baker. A 6'4 pt gd who can pass,penetrate and shoot. Weakness is the FT line. Hate playing against Mich St and Izzo at home.. But think they have enough offense to pose a huge threat to Mich St tonite.
