record 22-24 -15.3 units

Minnesota +2.5 2 units
Minnesota is always tough at home and is 8-1 this year. Gophers have beaten some good teams in GT and Georgia and lost to Texas Tech in OT. Illini have struggled in their only 2 true road games losing to Memphis and just got by a poor Arkansas team. Minnesota has a lot of shooters and is hitting 44% in 3's at home. Illinois has a lot of young players and I think they may get rattled on the road. Also Head and Powell have been out with injuries and although they will play are unlikely to be 100% for this game. Think the Gophers take this one at home.

W. Virginia -1 2 units
Wasn't impressed with Miami watching them against UNC this weekend. They don't have any post presence or anyone that can finish on the interior. They rely on the 3 too much and I think they will struggle on the road where they are shooting just 37%. They are 1-3 on the road so far losing to Fla. Atlantic, FSU, and UNCC while their only win was against C. Florida. WV is 8-0 at home shooting 50.6% from the field and 38% in 3's. Little concerned about the rebounding but think they will hit enough shots to get the win at home.

Marquette -1.5 2 units
Think Marquette will stop their skid here. They have won the last 4 meetings and St. Louis doesn't match up well with Wade or Jackson.

UNCG -1 2 units
Line looks fishy with a 8-3 team against a favored 3-9 team. UNCG has won 4 of L5 meetings and although they have struggled lately 7 of their last 8 games were on the road. They have played well at home and I think they will get the win in this spot.

Oklahoma -6.5 2 units
Looks like one of those games where the dog looks too good with so many points. Uconn has played an extremely weak schedule so far and OU is as tough as they come at home. Uconn is perimeter oriented when forced into a half court game which I think the Sooners will force them into. OU has a lot of quickness and I think the Huskies will have difficulty getting good looks. Looking for a big Sooner win at home. Will wait closer to game time to play as line will probably drop a point or two.

Think MSU's interior play with Austin will be the difference. Don't think anyone Florida has can guard him. MSU is outrebounding opponents by 12 per game and have played excellent defense allowing just 36.6% shooting. Florida relies too much on the 3 which may be a problem on the road for a team with a lot of young players. They have trouble scoring inside as Lee is not a good finisher and I think he may get into foul trouble and they don't have any experienced depth behind him. Think MSU gets an easy win at home.
