Not a stellar season so far for me, and I may be throwing out a turd tonite:
Princeton +8.5
Billy Blastoff is on Penn but I think Vegas has got this one wrong. After losing at home to Rider, Penn seems to have woken up; they have been playing some very tough D and come into this game undefeated in the Ivy...while Princeton, who was the preseason favorite to win the Ivy, is 1-3, losing at home to Brown and getting swept by lower half teams Harvard and Dartmouth last weekend...Princeton big man Wallace has had back problems and on the surface the Tigers look to be in big trouble tonite...
But if you dig a little deeper...Princeton actually played well in all three of their losses but for some reason they faltered in the final minutes...getting outscored something like 18-1 at Dartmouth in the final four minutes...Princeton has been shooting the three well which is integral to their game...Penn was very inconsistent early on in the season and I can't believe that they won't revert back to that earlier team at some point...they certainly won't go thru the Ivy season undefeated...Princeton needs this game a lot more than Penn...Princeton is at best heading for the NIT if they lose tonite...Tiger alumni are already calling for the resignation of new coach Scott...despite his back problems, Wallace played well on Sat going 9-15 from the field...for what it's worth I threw a little on the ML +375...maybe Vegas is right but someone has to be the other side...good luck...
