Western Mich +11 one unit

I went back and forth on this one before landing on the Broncos. Hiller and the Western offense is quite capable of making enough plays to stay in this one. Ball State's defense is vulnerable through the air, giving up about 200 ypg. through the air.

The major reason for the play however is Western's improving defense. The Broncos have only given up 44 total points in their last three games. They are also the only MAC team to allow less than 4 yards per rush. If Western can keep Lewis somewhat contained on the ground they should have a big chance of covering the 11 point spread.

nice to see you on them, spang. of course, we both also trusted central michigan last week. i'm still fuming over cmu's play calling on their first two drives. the first two times they touched the ball, they showed signs of moving right down the field... and both times they killed their momentum with horrendous plays. anyways, i digress. i like the broncos to keep this close and maybe even shock the world. ok, a very small part of the world. pretty much the part that bets on mac football games.

FWIW I have faded them 4-5 times this year and gotten burned every time except when I bought the hook and pushed with Central Mich. The QB is frickin awesome and the running back is solid. I agree that they could have been top 10 with Dante Love.
