Cubs are hitting lefthanders at a nice .302 clip this season. Dempster is improving his whip which should lead to more solid starts going forward. Cubbies are 27-12 after last 39 losses.
3* Rangers -120 (Peavy/Holland)
Rangers are a different team with Hamilton in the lineup, and their now 10-2 when he plays this season. Both pitchers are in good form but I like this cheap price on the solid home team.
2* Over 8.5 -125 ChiSox/Rangers
McClelland is a good over umpire, and I like the depth of the Rangers lineup with Cruz and Hamilton back in it.
2* Cardinals -125 (McClellan/Harang)
Cards 7-1 in McClelland starts and 66-26 against the Padres. Cards know Harang well from his days with the Reds and his team's are 2-7 in his last 9 against St. Louis.
