Philadelphia 76ers @ Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls tonight look to avoid a season series sweep when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers will be without All-Star guard Allen Iverson for the second straight game due to a right knee injury and they are just 7-12 SU this season without him in the line-up. Adding to their injury woes is Derrick Coleman who is questionable for tonight's contest and Glenn Robinson who is out indefinitely.

The Bulls have a better home record (12-20, .375) this season than the 76ers road record (10-22, .313) and tonight is a nice spot to play on Chicago. They catch the 76ers off of a huge comeback win against the Milwaukee Bucks last night when they rallied from 20 points down to win 97-92. That victory is good news for our play tonight as the 76ers are a horrible 10-26 ATS the last three seasons off a SU win as an underdog. And there is no way that reserves Greg Buckner and Zendon Hamilton will be able to light it up again. It's unrealistic to expect them to combine for anything like the 39 points on 72% shooting like they did last night.

Teams off a home dog win going on the road without rest against a team seeking revenge have a very poor ATS record and there is a reason why linesmakers have installed Chicago as 4 1/2 point favorite's tonight. Philly has lost their last seven SU and ATS when playing on the road without rest. They were without Allen Iverson in two of those games and lost by ten points at Toronto and Atlanta.

The 76ers have lost their last four on the road to the Knicks, Pacers, Hawks and Lakers and all of those losses were by at least seven points. Chicago's last two home games have resulted in wins by 11 points over the Cavaliers and by 6 points over the Warriors.

We'll lay the points with the Bulls tonight against the shorthanded and unrested 76ers.

Recommended Play: Chicago -4.5
