I don't think the LAKERS lose their opener... no way KOBE is gonna let that happen and YES, he can do it without SHAQ. It may be at the buzzer like last year in DENVER, but LAKERS win game 1 of the post PHIL/SHAQ era.
I actually feel the best play is on the OVER. Both these teams will want to make a statement and this year the LAKERS will actually run with teams and play OFFENSE first as opposed to the DEFENSE first approach of Coach Jackson.
I was surprised to see the line at 193 earlier, but I now see it going up and up. I think it will hit 196 before tip-off and I STILL like it over that number. Lots of weapons on both teams and I think we see a NEW ERA starting tonite as SHOWTIME returns with KOBE leading the way.
