1-2 yesterday - If there is ever a feel good loss, it was nice to see the Dukes get an opening victory after all they have gone through this off season.
Marist -6' - The Blue Hens were had some of the worst stats in the Colonial last year. And that was with Colonial first teamer Nana. The Red Foxes had a bad first half vs Ohio but stayed even in the second half. Marist returns 4 starters and top 2 reserves from last year. Look for the Red Foxes to be led by Jordon to a double digit victory.
WMich +1' - This line seems way off. The Sycamores lose Moss and went 0-8 last year when he was hurt. They do not have much experience in the backcourt and may have to rely on incoming freshmen. The Bronco dropped their first game to Pitt. Reitz should have an easier time in the paint tonight than he did with Pitt's Gray. Wrong team favored here.
LBST +8' - Two different styles here. The Falcons run the Princeton offensive and play great d. The 49ers will run, run, and run some more, hoping to shoot you into submission. This game will be decided by the 49ers being able to hit shots in transition. The Falcons scored over 70 only a few times last year and while they scored in the 80's vs Pine Bluff if they score that many tonight it is because the 49ers dictated the tempo.
NO +2' - The Privateers have 3 games under their belt but are 1-2 on the year. The Green Wave were demolished by Butler in their opener. No player scored in DD for the Green Wave. Give me the points with the team with a better backcourt, better scoring, and a few more games under their belts.
DePaul -5' - Two Windy City teams matchup trying to makeup for open losses. The Blue Demons were trounced by Bradely in their opener while the Wildcats dropped a close one to Cornell. Not sure which is worse. DePaul played a killier schedule last year and should only help all the the returning players. Mejia got his points in the opener and should get more tonight. While I liked that 4 Wildcats were in DD against the Big Red, they will have a harder time scoring tonight.
ColSt +1' - The Bears mauled AngeloSt in their opener. Not exactly news. Smith and Smith for CSU will be a daunting duo this year, but they also have another 7footer in Creason. The Bears will be mid-Big12 team this year but the inside game will lift the Rams to victory.
SanFran -4 - The Dons may challenge the Zags this year for the WCC. The Hornets return 3 starters and looked good against Bethany (as they should) but got it handed to them by New Mexico. Look for Wiggins and Surratt to have a big game for the Dons and pull away in the second half.
