2-0 last night keeps our little run going, overall record now 41-28, 3-0 on *double plays*. three plays for tonight:
villanova-2: game is at the first union center. quakers are just not gelling into the team that they were expected to be this year. they are 2-2, beating only a bad penn st team and a rebuilding temple coming back to philly after a brutal road trip. they lost at delaware and at home to drexel. 'nova is way better than any team penn has seen so far - i see a schoolin' coming tonight.
davidson -2: everything has already been said about this play, so i'll keep it brief. st bonny was well thought of coming into the season, and more so after beating what was thought to be decent va tech and michigan teams in the holiday tourney in puerto rico. we know better now. bonnies now losers of four straight and come into their third road game in six days. we get the better team, better coach (!) at home laying 2.
harvard +4-: like to hear box and one chime in on this one if you're out there, but i consider the crimson the better team here. harvard returns a solid nucleus from last year's 14-12 team. they won by two at fairfield and beat lehigh by 12 in cambridge, both comparable teams to rider imo. lost at home by three to boston u and 5 to holy cross, both of those way better than rider. i'm really thinking harvard can compete here.
