NHL season: 5-8 (-1.90 units)
For tonight, I like these:
1) Minnesota +0.5 (-110)
Minnesota has really been playing well so far this season. These two already played to a scoreless tie earlier this year, which makes the half goal all the more valuable. I'll take the half goal at this small price.
2) Nashville/Buffalo under 5 (-125)
This is about as high as I will go on a total in terms of vig, but this one looks too good to pass up. Biron and Dunham have both been solid in net so far. I just don't see where the goals are going to come from in this one as both teams possess relatively weak offenses that are trying to go up against upper tier goaltenders.
3) Boston (-120)
Not much analysis on this one. Quite simply, with Guerin returning to the Boston lineup, I'll lay the small number on the better team in my opinion. Both teams are rested, should be a scrappy one.
