Tuesday NIT:
1) St. Joe's +2.5
2) Maryland -3.5
I like Maryland, as they covered their last 3 by close to a 10 point spread, while South Carolina has squeaked by at home their last couple. The scary thing about Maryland is the way they have come out in the first half of some of these games. If they come out flat against South Carolina and are down double digits in the first half, it might be too tough for them to come back in this one. I think tonight, however, they will be fired up now that they are in the semis of this tournament and will be ready to go.
Memphis played a lot tougher competition all year in C-USA, but St. Joes has played surprisingly well in this tournament. Memphis was a streaky team all year and the short drive for the St. Joes fans from Philadelphia should give Joe's a slight HC advantage. I had a couple plays still alive with Memphis that I put in over the weekend, but after breaking down these teams a little bit, I am going to go with St. Joe's tonight.
