good job guys, keep it up, hope to find something of value to contribute
philly....
Brashear has five goals, eight assists for 13 points and his 90 penalty minutes are more
than any of the Flyers.
Since Brashear won't replace John LeClair or Simon Gagne, he figures to play with Dopita
and perhaps Ruslan Fedotenko

When the Flyers go 0-for-6 on the power play, and Keith Primeau misses an open net, and
Roman Cechmanek watches a 90-footer sail by him, and you're wondering why you just
spent 60 bucks to watch another home loss to a supposedly inferior team, Roenick would
like you to slowly inhale, gently exhale and be a little more understanding.
In case you missed it, here is what Roenick had to say Thursday night when asked why the
Flyers have a much better record on the road than they have at home, where they are still
looking to win two in a row:
``We have a lot of pressure in this building,'' Roenick said. ``The fans don't have any
tolerance for us being behind. Sometimes we find ourselves pressing. Then, when we start
hearing the boos come, it deflates you. There's no question about it. I'm not going to lie to
you, it deflates the hell out of a hockey team. And they're very quick to do it.''
One more thing from Roenick: He wants us all to know the ice at the First Union Center is
soft and mushy. So, the next time you want to let out a hearty boo, go ahead. Let the
Zamboni driver have it. Somebody has to be blamed after a loss
Coach Bill Barber used 14 line combinations Saturday night in Boston, tying his high mark
for the season. Recchi played on six of those lines. LeClair, Gagne, Roenick, Jan Hlavac
and Paul Ranheim played on four lines. Primeau had a season-low 13 minutes, 19 seconds
of ice time (no shots) and was used on three lines. He took just 11 face-offs, winning only
36 percent of his draws. . . . Marty Murray had back-to-back minus games going into last
night. . . . Weinrich was plus-3 against Boston but did not figure in any of the Flyers' five
goals. . . . Justin Williams returned to the lineup against Edmonton last night after missing
three games, two as an injury scratch. Kent Manderville missed the game with the flu.
