Boosted my record to 5-1 for the season last week and I have been getting alot of heat to pick another winner. I don't pick a game every night so I try and lay in the weeds and jump on something ONLY when I love it.
Tonight just happens to be that night in a conference that I NEVER get involved.
Eastern Kentucky should easily handle Moorhead State tonight. They have Mike Rose (15.2 ppg)who is their big scorer. Adam Leonard and Julian Mascoll have also made solid contributions this year, as Leonard is netting 12.5 ppg, while Mascoll is posting 11.3 ppg to go along with 4.0 rpg and 141 assists. The team is also shooting 47% from the floor!
Moorehead State is coming off an amazing game in which tehy beat Austin Peay by shooting 50% from the field and 21-26 from the free throw line.
The team also made 9-of-18 attempts from long range and won the battle on the glass, 38-30. It was a stunning performance for Morehead State, which was simply dismal during the entire season, posting just 65.2 ppg, while shooting a mediocre 43.5 percent from the floor.
I don't expect this to continue so I am going to lay the 7.5 and let the winning streak continue!!
Hopefully, if everything goes as planned, I'll shut it down for the rest of the week, take Friday off, and go skiing in Vermont.
Good luck to all !!!
