On to tonight...

Lot of plays for the night, feels like too many but I have already cut the ones that were too close for comfort...

ASU +4 - I like Ike. He will be the difference in this game. Look for the Sun Devils to win this game outright.

Davidson -6' - JT3 is on the sidelines but he might have a better shot if he suited up. This games looks like one of the lines that is low due to public perception. Winters, Kosmalski, and Johnson will score early and often for the Wildcats. If McKillop can find his shot, this could be a blowout.

GTech -10' - Two different classes of teams from two different classes of conferences (for this year). The Big 10 is nowhere near as strong as the ACC this year. One of the many top teams from the ACC at home vs. one of the middle contenders from the Big 10. The Wolverines played well in the NIT until they ran into some better teams in Arz and Prov.

USC -7 - Look for Bibby's Trojans to rebound from their whoopin at UNC and take it out on the Explorers. LaSalle is having trouble scoring and lost at home to James Madison by 9.

X -3 - The Bluejays have been playing good basketball so far. That said, look for them to have problems in the paint with the Musketeers. Xavier lost in their last home game to MiamiOh. Look for them to come out strong and play aggressively especially on the boards to control this game.

Minn -2' - The Golden Gophers have not started off the season with a bang but they also have not lost to TexasA&M-Corpus Christi at home. The Seminoles have not started off the season with a bang either, but they have dropped a home game to the Islanders. Gophers at home...giving 2 and change...sold.

Manhattan +3' - Flores is gone. So are Holmes and Benton. Jaspers seems to have found enough replacements especially in Dubois. Gai is tough for the Stags and the Jaspers will need to find away to limit him in the paint offensively and on the boards but Deng can block every shot and the Jaspers have found a way to get plenty into the basket this year from everyone instead of just Flores.

Houston +9 - The Owls are the better team. But look for the Cougars to keep this one close with their defense. 9 points is too many to be giving in this cross town rivalry.

Iowa -7 - Which version of the Bulldogs will show up for them tonight? The 50% shooting team that took on Akron, or the 31% shooting team that got spanked by Iowa State? Let's say tonight's team falls inbetween. Still won't be enough to stay close with the Hawkeyes.

MSU +6 - In the words of Pete Gillen, "Duke is Duke...", but they may not be the best team on the court tonight. Izzo vs Krzyzdksdfojkdfsdkjf-ski. Should be a great game...should be a very close game. Too many points even for the guys that are on more than Leave It To Beaver reruns.

Montana +1' - Wrong team favored...especially on their home floor. Grizzlies get back home and get back on track against a pourous Matador defense.

Maryland -1' - Right team favored here...even on the road. Wisconsin will battle for the Big-10 title but they will struggle to keep up with the Terps. Only chance for the Badgers is to go into that slow paced game that they had a few years ago. Won't happen tonight as the Terps control the tempo and thus the game.

WSU -5 - Too bad for both Vandals and the Badgers that Bennett is coaching in this game. Cougers play defense...Vandals don't...This game could be low scoring but the Cougers will be able to score enough to win this one easily.
