Pitt-1.5..Love the Panthers here. Do not think Rutgers home crowds are much of a factor. Pitt has showed to be tough and unaffected on the road.Ithink this isdue to solid guard play and in your face dee. They have won , on the road already at BC and Ohio St, much tougher places, with their only loss to a tough So.Florida team on a nuetral court.Pitt comes to play everynight. Rutgers coming of a big come from behind win VS G-Town, do not think lightning will strike twice.
So.Florida 13.5...The Bulls have looked awful over their last 4-5 games.Team needs a jump start(patsie) to turn things around in a positive direction and I feel So.Miss might be the answer. So.Miss has looked pretty poor so far this year and the Bulls need a convincing win to change their mindset. I think they get it here.
Tulane-5...Good rebound win at Depaul after taking a ass-kicking at Kentucky and one at home from Miss St. Houston more on the level of teams that Tulane should handle at home like they did VS G.Tech and Vandy. I like teams that get solid guard play and they do with Spann and Marsh.
St.Johns P....Miami seems to be the obvious play here, but Ilike the way Jarvis gets this team ready to play. They can be tough and relentless on the boards and if Hatten can stay under control and get hot, the Johnnies can be awfully tough. This team beat a real solid senior led Wake Forest team at MSG so they can play with anyone. Miami has had some real quality road wins(Gtown and Indy), but this is the 3 sttraight Big east road tilt in a week, and coming off a tough loss, I like the Johnnies here.
