Pitt-1.5 ..Love the Panthers here. Do not think Rutgers home crowds are much of a factor. I think this is due to solid guard play and in your face dee. They have won on the road at BC and Ohio St., and only loss has been on a nuetral floor VS So. Fla. Team comes to play everynight. Rutgers on a big come from behind win vs G-town, do not think lightning will sttrike twice. Going with the Panthers big.
Tulane -5...Good rebound win at Depaul after taking a ass-kicking from Kentucky and at home to Miss St.Houston more on the level of teams that Tulane should be able to handle at home as they did with Vandy and G-tech. I like teams that get solid guard play and they do from Spann and Marsh.
So.Florida -13.5..The Bulls have looked very sub-par their last 4-5 games. Team ned a jump start, something to turn things around in a positive direction, and I feel So.Miss(patsie) has been pretty poor this year and might be just what the DR. ordered to change this teams mindset. They need a confidence booster and I think they get it here tonight.
St Johns ..p. Miami seems to be the obvious play, but I like the way Jarvis has his team always ready to play and competitive.They can be relentless on the boards and tenacious and scrappy on dee. If Hatten can stay in control and get hot, the Johnnies can be real tough. This team beat a real solid senior led Wake Forest team at MSG. Miami has had some real quality road wins(Indy and Gtown), but this is their 3rd straight Big East road game in a week. Like the Johnnies to get it done tonight.
