I think this is a good play. I played it yesterday and the game was re-scheduled for tonight and my book kept my play alive.
Why is 5-20 SE Mizzou favored over 14-13 Eastern Illinois?
Buddy's Handicapping 101 class taught me that Vegas doesn't hand out gifts so it must mean that SE Mizzou is going to win.
SE Mizzou is more talented than their poor record indicates, they've actually been playing better ball of late (4-2-1 ATS L7) and they need a win in going for the last position in the OVC tourney.
EIU has been terrible on the road at 4-10 and SE Mizzou has the element of revenge as EIU beat them last month in Illinois.

I played it yesterday to but WWTS cancelled it but I just bet again at the same line I had yesterday so no harm no foul. I am glad we agree on this one. This line actually got to the books as E Ill -3.5 and was bet down to -1.5 before the books released it to the public so somone likes them allot as do you and I!
i was sitting here looking over this game and thinking i would be the only one taking se mo, and then i pop into the forum to see you two on the game also.
eiu looks like a tired team to me. they have lost five of their last six, including two straight at home, which is pretty remarkable considering they had previously won 23 straight in charleston. their latest home loss was to a mediocre tenn-martin team that had lost seven of eight coming into the game. domercant went 4 of 18 from the field, and eiu shot 36% as a team with 24 to's. those numbers are red flags of fatigue imo.
se mo has played better ball of late and needs this game to lock up the eighth and final spot in the ovc tournament, so i would look for an all-out effort from them tonight.
robert, if you don't mind (now that you're used to it) i intend to take credit for this game if it wins and blame you if it loses.

thats fine I learned my lesson when I was scolded LOL good luck and I will take the blame if it loses (cause I don't think it will) but we all know that anything can happen LOL Good Luck!

, just joking i hope you know that This SEMO team has 2 of their 3 D-1 wins this year in their past 3 games, E. Ill. has been nothing short af pathetic on the road this year and seems to have tossed it in. I'll take SEMO at home tonight, but please don't make me watch!
