First off, Tulsa is not a very good football team. They now own the longest losing streak in Div 1a and have not scored in 10 of their last 12 quarters dating to last year..However their next game vs Ark St is very winnable...
Ark St lost starting QB Tommy Miller to a knee injury in 2nd quarter
season openner vs San Jose St. In that game the backup Elliot Jacobs was yanked after 2 intercepts and a fumble that led to 17 points..they lost 33-14 to San Jose St, a team with 63 scholarship players. Lindys has Ark St rated worst in 1a
I see little from Ark St loser of last 6 with starting Qb out next two weeks...

did shoot itself in the foot a bit...
TU knew they were not going to win that game as I said in my last writeup. Coach Burns played a very vanilla game to avoid injuries in this serious mis-match. As it was they lost I believe

out as he was a little gimpy.
Now that Gooch is the man at QB, ( he can scramble ) they have talent at WR with juco transfers, and a decent runing game with Eric Richardson, along with an energetic defense, ( they finally wore down vs OU ) I see them covering as a 5pt favorite
