went there once dawgball and it was the d*mnest thing. you're driving through miles and miles of farmland in the middle of bumf*ck when all of the sudden you see these high rise hotels, all glitzy and stuff, rising in the distance out of absolutely nowhere. about a half-dozen or eight casinos all clustered up.
layout is pretty unique. as only "riverboat" gambling is allowed in mississippi, they cut a man-made loop canal out of the river and all of the high rise hotels are built on land and the casinos are all built on huge barges permanently moored on the loop. evidently, this qualifies as riverboat gambling under local law written with the clarity of a tax-protester's argument.
anyway, as i recall, grand is as nice as any of them. black jack out of an eight deck shoe, no more than double or triple odds on the craps table, obviously no sportbook. other than that, your basic blue collar casino where it's date night on fridays. if you want to go out and do something outside the casino, memphis is less than an hour away and has so neat places, like some fine jazz clubs (and other gentlemen's entertainment). if you're a steady quarter or better player, they'll comp you like you were billy ray valentine, movie star.
