Thought some of ya might know of a place I can get my hands on a kickass Home theatre system. TV,speakers, sub, receiver, etc..etc..I don't want to spend a friggin' war pension, but I would like something that is good and reliable. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

here's a long link to what i have. if the link breaks up just copy it all and paste it in your browser.

this system sounds better than the movie theater and the wife likes it because she hated the BIG speakers we used to have. these babies are small but will crank up if you need it. the bass is unbelievable. i bought the system without their receiver and i think it cost about $1200. they sell them on eBay brand new (they used to anyway) for better prices than on this page. i got mine at sears when they were on sale.

i'm telling you.....it sounds better (no chit) than the movie theater.

use your own receiver if it can do digital, if not, get a new one and get your own tv or use the one you already have.

MUCHO gracious!! Wife aint havin' any part of the big speakers too. I thought about a Bose home theatre system but that damn thing cost nearly $3k! Wife wants the speakers built into the wall so they are not noticeable. She's also making me encase my TV into a specialy designed cabinet. She's also been trying to get me to down size from a 52' to the low 40's. However, I'm not budgin' on that one!
