Twilight Zone Marathon...Name you favorite episode

A 40-hour marathon of "The Twilight Zone" will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 3 and from 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. July 4-5 SyFy Channel.

What is your favorite episode?

Mine is "I am the Camera" Husband and wife have a camera that will predict the future and they go to the horse track and take a picture of the tote board. Classic.:0002

No way I'll remember the name of the episode but it was when a guy bet an obscene amount of money he could go a year without saying a word. He did it but when he went to collect the guy he bet with was broke and couldn't pay. Turns out the guy had his vocal chords removed....something like that.

Of course the Ellie Mae beautiful-face in a pig-face world is a classic.

Where is everybody - the one with the guy in the town that has no one in it and he ends up being in a air force simulator. Dang. Talk about a show that could tell the future. Virtual Reality wasn't even a near possibility back then.

I think of Cliffordville - this spawned a few movies where the female lead is the devil is sexy lingerie. This is a great one to watch for bad acting, but good intentions.

Stop over in a quiet town is my absolute fav.

But I also love to watch the one (I forget the name) with the mannequin and the lady in the department store. Scared the shit out of me as a kid.


The next stop Willoughby episode is brilliant!

When I was a kid the mannequin episode scared the piss out of me.

Another one that scared me as a kid was 'The Hitchhiker" The dude always said "going my way" scared the fuck out of me.

In the one movie about the racist.

When they are in Vietnam, the squad is on patrol,
and they hear some noise.

One of the squad members say's "Shit ! I knew we shouldn't have killed Neidermeyer"

If you have seen Animal House you will recognize that line.

John Landis who directed and Produced Animal House also Produced that segement of the Twilight Zone.

1)the howling man.....john carridine may be the greatest voice ever in hollywood cinema..

2)to serve man...it`s a cook book !!...:scared .........:lol: ..great stuff...

3)will the real martian please stand up...some great old character actors that have been in hundreds of old t.v. shows...

all 3 have great kicker endings...

oh...and talk about kick ass endings.....an old alfred hitchcock episdoe called"an unlocked window"....this scared the piss out of me as a kid.....it`s probably why i`m so scared of va nurse...:SIB

if you have an hour to kill over the holiday,grab a beer,sit down and relax and watch this one...great stuff...

btw..theres a thingy on the side of the screen that lets you lower the lights...it`s increases the resolution and the mood...:toast:

Great thread! Hard to name a favorite, but any episode with Burgess Meredith is a classic. My favorite may be the one where he is the Devil that comes to help out the struggling newspaper owner.
