Is this a sucker bet?? Just wanted opinions.......I'm sure 9/10 people see this line and can't believe The Rocket is an underdog at home, but then again this kid Liriano is a stud and like usual I'm suspecting Clemens to get no run support. I like Houston myself to pull it out late, but just wanted opinions on the goofy line Vegas set.......

Liriano is the real deal, as I had a chance to watch him 3 weeks ago at the dome. I have been watching him ever since he came to minny via the AJ Pierzynski trade. That said, it does not surprise me to see him as the favorite. However, against Clemens--especially his first start of the year, I would had thought the line would be fairly even between the 2 teams. It should be a fun game to watch!

No play for me. Think the line is where it should be after opening at a pick'em. If I had to I'd play the Twins as they are playing good baseball right now and like you said, Liriano is a stud. I think Clemens needs a couple of outings against major league hitters to get in good pitching shape. Good Luck Right Side!!!:)

FWIW--virtually all of the scamdicappers are giving out the Twins tonight. Personally, I think the Rocket has a good outing against the fairly weak Twins line-up, and that the Astros, who are batting .290 on the year against lefty pitchers, score off of Liriano.

Is anyone out there watching Liriano in this game? He is absolutely untouchable so far tonight. 51 pitches in 5 innings and 3 double plays. This kid is amazing. :scared

The Astros look like little kids up there. Bailing out on curve balls and swinging 2 feet over change ups and curves.

You knew he would only go 5 maybe six

You knew he would only go 5 maybe six

I thought the twins were a safe play.. Roger was only gonna go 5 maybe 6 innings. Liriano has been unbeatable as of late. and when you have to rely on lance berkman for that much offense your in trouble
