The Minnesota Twins look to increase their lead atop the AL Central tonight when they take on the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. The Twins are 38-29 overall to lead the Royals by four games in the battle for the AL Central.

It's the total that we believe offers value tonight as we recommend the Under.

24 year-old Kyle Lohse takes the mound for the Twins and he has become his team's most reliable starter. The right-hander is 6-4 with a 2.91 ERA this season including 4-1 over his last eight starts with a miserly 1.98 ERA. Last time out against the Rockies Lohse allowed just one run on six hits over six innings, while striking out seven. He has not allowed more than three earned runs in a game since April 26 against the White Sox. Overall this year he is limiting opponents to a .226 batting average and .268 on-base percentage and can boast a fantastic ratio of 65 strike-out's to just 18 walks. In four career starts against Kansas City he is 1-1 with a 3.52 ERA.

The Royals won two of three against the San Francisco Giants to get back above the .500 mark. 31-year-old lefthander Darrell May gets the start tonight and although he is 0-3 on the year he does have a respectable 4.14 ERA.

The Under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings betweens these teams at an average of less than 7 per game.

Tonight we're forecasting no more than 9 runs being scored.

Recommended Play: Under 9.5 -125
