I really think that the wrong team is favored here Loyola Chi. faces the new season without the very talented Schilb and 3 other starters from last years team. It may be tough sledding for the Ramblers. E. Illinois gets all their key guys back from a team that showed marked improvement late in last years season. Martin and Catchings will pack some scoring punch for the Panthers and I like the 3 point dog at home tonight.

I had the opportunity to watch the Chipps last night and I liked what i saw. Watson gad a horrible game, yet CMU battled hard and were not embarrassed a bit in the defeat at Mizzou. Minnoy, Chase and Allen all looked solid and the Chipps got good production from the bench. Watson must realize that he does not need to force the action and to trust the new talent that surrounds him. I think CMU can make some significant noise in the MAC west this year.
