MJ record YTD 0-0
First two NFL posts of the young season.
NY Jets +3' two units
49's -1 two units
I feel that Brady and the Pats are just not where they need to be just yet and they were most fotunate to escape Buffalo with a win. The loss of Mayo in the middle of the defense going into this game is a big factor as well.
I'm probably asking a lot out of Sanchez but he is greatly aided by the backfield duo of Jones and Washington. The Jets can and will try to do a lot of safe stuff underneath with Washington and TE Keller to safely get Sanchez into the game with some confidence. On the other side of the ball you could not have asked for a more solid effort from the Jets D against Houston. I just think that this is a nice time to face the Pats and the 3' is a decent number for the Jets to be catching at home.
SF is very quietly becoming a pretty decent football team. They seem to be assuming the personality of Coach Singletary, a blue collar team that does the little things right to win football games. Their defense is getting better with time and so is QB Hill. Though not spectacular by any stretch, he does a very good job of protecting the ball and keeping defenses honest with a well balanced attack. I am a little concerned by the slow start of Gore but think he 'll start rolling soon enough. I don't expect to continue seeing great value with SF for much longer, but I think it remains with them at home against Seattle.
