I only bet the 4 Majors, the PLAYERS, and a select few other events throughout the year. This leader board has a major feel to it, jam packed with studs, and has a great feeling going into Saturday.
****10 Unit****TW -170 vs. Sergio
I absolutely love Tiger in this spot. He was my play going into this week, and is my still my play after the first 2 rounds. He hasn't been in this position in this event since he won in 2001, and he just seems to be on a mission this week. He's swinging as good as I've seen him swing it in the last 5 years, and I don't see him coming back to the field. Sergio always seems to have a niche when it comes to playing at Sawgrass, and always seems to play well, but it's been a while since he has played with Tiger in the final group with something on the line, and I think he buckles to the pressure.
****10 Unit****Lee Westwood - 160 vs. Henrik Stenson
Westie has been as steady as any player in the field this week, and I see him continuing that right through the US Open. I've got him and Tiger in the final group on Sunday, and think Westie can win this. PLAYERS has never been a fixture in Westwoods schedule when he was playing the European Tour schedule, but since he's taken up his PGA TOUR full-time status, and leading up to the US Open, this guys been solid. He will take the next few weeks off before he tunes up at St. Jude in Memphis, before heading to Merion for the US Open. His games sharp right now, and he will be in contention come Sunday.
