Money moves or "steam" moves are always hotly debated and an interesting topic. If you don't mind, could you give us your take on this? Are you looking at one or two off-shore locations? One or two Vegas locations? What constitutes a major move? I only bring that up because I am wondering in a relatively inconspicuous day game like Fla-Hou, a 10 cent move may not be that much. In this case, I think it may be more of a correction, because many of us that played Houston earlier got the Astros at -175. So, is the move from 195-185 what you base it on? Or are you playing "contrarian" and going against the money move from 185-195? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but just interested in the idea itself. Thanks for the post.

No problem sir well,I monitor an offshore book and I can see what money is being heavily wagered by the public opinion and what the smart players are playing.I cant name this site on here but,I can tell you it is some great information, sportsbooks are not in business for nothing.

also a money move to me is when money is heavily wagered on one side and the line moves, but you cant judge that all the time because we both know the sportsbooks are trying to get the equal amount on both sides of the ball, its hard to spot a money move I would say patience is key, from what i was told.

What you are saying is that you are tracking the so-called "smart money"? How do you differentiate that from the public money by looking at a line swing?
