My only two plays today.

Troy plus 20.5 at LSU: The Trojans have plenty of talent to be competitive in this one. As we all know, these are players who were recruited by the big boys. Plenty of power on both sides of the ball and well coached in every aspect of the game. The DLine is explosive at times and will disrupt the LSU backfield tonight. Offensively, they can score. Silvers, with many similarities to Phillip Rivers, is a very accurate four year starter and will manage the game to keep his team in it. They have not looked like Troy teams of the recent past, but they'll be ready to go in Death Valley tonight.

Clemson -7 at Virginia Tech
: Last week, this Tiger team didn't look like a top 25 team until the fourth quarter rolled around. But after a long week of prep for Lamar Jackson the week before, it's understandable that the Tigers came out flat against a BC team who is known to play them well defensively. Clemson found something last week with the sudden explosion of the young backfield of Feaster and Etienne. Speedsters, when these young men find a gap, they're a threat to take it the distance every time. Kelly Brant has looked plenty good enough to lead the Tigers to the playoffs once again, and with the receiving options of McCloud, Renfrow, Cain and the emergence of TE Richard, he'll jhave plenty of weapons to pair with his legs. Combine all of that with the most disruptive defensive front in college football, and I think you've got the making for a surprise walloping in Blacksburg. I think the Hokies will come out energized, but once the Tigers get going, it won't be close.
