this is a dream proposition:
rueter had a string of very steady games (8), throwing his last one away, where he went an aver. of 6 2/3 innings and allowed an era of around 2.20.
anderson is pretty good as well, having allowed a 3.90 era in his last 4 games, and certainly worthy of a slight premium on this game.
the catch here is the following: ariz shows a noticeable weakness in b.a. against lefties, while it is quite the opposite for s.f., who hits lefties much better than righties.
taken in account a perceive advantage of over 1 run in era for andersen, and the remarkable and opposite differential in each team's behavior vs. lefties, more than erases the premium on ariz, and the line should be more like s.f. -115 or so.
i will take s.f. +120 here, and a best bet.
