In case you thought you might be infected(like thousands of others) and would want to know your status. You wouldn't want to spread it would you? Everybody's not invincible with the shots even though that's what Biden was selling.

Read BleedingPurple's post below and tell me what the problem is. I copied this from a thread in general where he's responding to Cie's anecdotal evidence of how the virus isn't as big a problem as we're told and BP's liberalness might be clouding his perception.

Well to you it "seems" that way but in reality it isn't. The people who are getting the more severe cases of covid and who are dying are the unvaxxed. 30 some deaths in Duluth, MN hospitals since this has begun and only one was vaccinated. The last 50 some ICU patients and only 2 were vaccinated. Vaccinated people do get admitted to the hospital but are getting a couple days of respiratory treatments and out the door.

The people we are losing is the Trump crowd. We are losing people who have been the most stubborn. Lost a friend just little over a year ago. Big Trump guy, 37 years old. "When the election is over you will never hear of this again." contacted covid wouldn't go in, flew to Mexico, thought that he would get better in the sun. One day into his vacation he was intubated and fully vented in Mexico and then family paid 30 grand cash to get him flown to Minneapolis where he died 2 weeks later fully vented. His affiliation for Trump help lead to his demise.

Family friend who was 80 years old but she was in good health, independent, ambulatory. She was a big trump fan, She wasn't going to let the government tell her what to do. Family members were sick, but they carried on with Thanksgiving dinner, she ended up getting sick. Decided to treat herself with Vitamins and other home remedies. Family brought her in on a Friday afternoon with Oxygen levels in the 70s and she died a few days later

These stories continue on and on. People wont get vaccinated. People who have not been vaccinated or have not yet been exposed to covid better hope they don't have higher risk factors but in the state of WI 80% of people over 50 have some sort of compromise. In this state Obesity, Drinking, and Smoking

The mentality some people have is really questionable. I like to go to pages like Candace Owens to get a good chuckle on what crazy political people think. Read the comments, it's bizarre and quite sad to be honest.

So yeah the country is losing Trump fans on a daily basis.

The people who really need the test are the unvaxxed. They can go pound sand.

When the government sends out those free home tests, I wouldn't be surprised if 25% or more get pitched in defiance.

Well, phony baloney wants people to think the entire country has to be in line for hours on end to get a test. Makes for a good "story".

I had to get tested recently (to travel) so I scheduled a PCR test through Walgreens. Got the test as scheduled. The results weren't guaranteed to be ready in time so I panicked and scrambled same day and got a rapid test (as did my wife). Same day. Lots of testing places were booked, but there were appointments available.

"But, but, but, but, but"

But don't you want any tool readily available to stop the spread? You guys only see what fits your arguments. No rush at the border,no long lines for testing. The pictures don't lie and many people have experienced just the opposite of what you pretend.

Yes, and in my personal experience, that tool is available. Could it be more readily available, sure. You can show me pictures all day long but I'm living the reality. I'm sure there are places where it is more difficult than others to get a test, but remember, we are coming out of one of the heaviest travel seasons of the year. It's supply and demand. We've also got a new variant that is much more contagious than the others.

I want everyone to take the vaccine. But that would render the need for immediate testing a non-issue and doesn't fit your agenda. Poor planning on their part should not constitute an emergency for those that have done the right thing.

There has been an awesome tool available for over a year, and millions refuse to take it. Hospitalizations and possibly dying to make a political party look bad, is asinine. But, that's what some of you guys relish, so good for you.

Non issue when omnicron spreads like crazy amongst us? How do you know it won't hit you harder than others? Frankly, how do you know anything with the amount of mixed signals.
People need to demand clear definitions.

It spreads like wildfire but it's really only sending the unvaxxed to the hospital. I know it won't hit me harder than others because that's what the science is proving out. There aren't mixed signals but there are people trying to discredit the CDC, WHO and other outlets (see Skulnik's posts). They have been sending out one CRYSTAL CLEAR message: the vaccine is safe and effective against preventing serious illness. How's that being received?
