Minnesota Timberwolves @ New York Knicks

The Minnesota Timberwolves go for their sixth straight win tonight when they take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

We're going to recommend a play Over the total of 182 as we see thus one finishing in the 190's.

The Timberwolves are 17-9 this season which is good for second place in the Midwest. They are 7-1 Over recently and those games have averaged a total of 201 points. Last time out they combined for 182 points with the Pacers so you'd think they could do better than that against a team like the Knicks who allow an average 92 points per game.

Minnesota seek revenge tonight for an upset 97-92 home loss to the Knicks in late November. Expect a big performance from former Knick Latrell Sprewell who will be looking to make a statement tonight after being traded in the off-season. Minnesota is 27-13 Over the last three seasons following three or more consecutive wins.

The Knicks are just 10-18 overall this season and yesterday fired Scott Layden as president and replaced him with Isiah Thomas. They have played in three straight Overs and are 13-3 Over the total the last three seasons following a victory of 10 points or more.

The average total for the last ten meetings between these teams is 189.6 points and just two of those games would have gone under tonight's line of 182.

Recommended Play: Over 183.5
