Outright plays (1.5pts):

Jerry Kelly to win 25/1 e.w. available generally
Siding with the player who has the longest run of cuts made on Tour with the sole exception of Tiger Woods. Playing in his home State of Wisconsin and having not been in contention last week, he should be motivated for a strong showing this week. He has finished in the top-3 on two occasions in the last nine years, so he does know how to shoot low around Brown Deer Park.

Jeff Sluman to win 33/1 e.w. available generally
Sluman certainly knows how to shoot low around this course. He won in 1998 with a 72-hole total of 265 and in 2002 with a total of 261, which is only one off the tournament record held by Loren Roberts (2000). His form has been god recently with an 8th place finish in his last start, the John Deere Classic two weeks ago, and he has ranked in the top-10 in greens in regulation in his last two starts. Not a likely winner, but his course history cannot be ignored.

Bo Van Pelt to win 40/1 e.w. available generally
Van Pelt's history is much more average, a best-finish of 27th from two attempts, but it is better than first appears. In 2002, he shot 64-68 to lie 5th at cut and just two shots behind Sluman. However he then shot 78 in the 3rd round to fall 67 places on the leaderboard before shooting 63 in the final round to finish 27th. But for one round, he had an excellent time around this course. In excellent form with three top-10 finishes in his last six starts, this should be a week where he puts that 3rd round in 2002 firmly behind him.

RRC Line still -140 @ $plays or -152 Pinnacle
if one likes the match.

To add to your stats Van Pelt is 241-231 vs top 50 players and Taylor 63-215 in past year--but not sure for bang for buck I wouldn't rather have Van Pelt at even money vs Byrd 152-468 vs top 50 especially with him just coming off win.

I might add Van Pelt is 8-1 vs Bryd and Taylor holds bout 1/2 stroke scor adv over Byrd.

Just food for thought Line on Van Pelt/Bryd is @ SIA

Dogs...didn't see your post in time, thanks for the heads up though.

My roommate in college and High school is a caddy on the pro tour.He does the womans and seniors mostly. His wife and him drive all over the country doing tournaments. They are in a Winebago and he stays at Wallmart parking lots.He does a few mens and once in awhile I'll come home from school and find his Winebago in my driveway. He used to do the Buick Open in Westchester.
I forgot who he had in the HP Classic in New Orleans but the guy was in the top 10 and made it to Sat and sunday. Many of his golfers get cut on friday.
His nickname in college was "Spaceman".He still is out there.Played golf 24-7 in college.Being his roomate for 4 yrs is worthy of a book
He called from a cell phone last week.I asked him who will win this week in Milwaukee. He said Franco was his darkhorse."put you play money on him or Verplank."Perry loves the course and won it shooting -15 or -16 last yr.
I don't gamble to much on golf.I play Chris DiMarco every time he is in a tourney.
I ask Spaceman who to play every time he calls.I did play his plays and I'll paste my picks.
I'm in the hunt with a few today..If Franco can pull this out.I have him at 60-1.That will be a 4 figure winner.Perry isn't to bad at 9-1.And Verplank would be nice.I know there are a whole bunch at the leader board. My three are right in it.C'mon Franco. Not watching my Phillies today.
Praying that Franco can pull this out. Also played Verplanl str up ve Choi.

Spaceman said he's out in the Nationwide tour right now with rookies. He'll be checking in from Wichta and Omaha in the next few weeks..I can't call him because his cell phone is always dead.

Outrights - FINAL RESULT: 0-3; -4.50pts

Kelly 13th
Sluman 22nd
Van Pelt 7th

It seems a very long time since Van Pelt was one of the first round leaders and Sluman and Kelly were just one shot behind. Still, Van Pelt and Kelly had good chances for a place win on Sunday, but Kelly finished 6-5-5-5 to finish four shots out of the places and Van Pelt failed to be under-par for the final six holes when in prime position. Could have had the winner in all four tournaments this week and end up making a loss overall on the outright plays. Maybe next time!

Matchups - FINAL RESULT: 5-0-0; +9.00pts

Gamez/Chalmers WON by 1
Roberts/Lowery WON by 2
Triplett/Stricker WON by 4
Van Pelt/Stricker WON by 8
Van Pelt/Taylor WON by 15

Pleasing sweep to compensate for the frustration on the outrights.
