UAB +21.5 (-110)

UAB is a very solid team with good talent, though not Florida St caliber talent. They return 7 starters on Offense including QB (Hackney) and RB (White) both all conference type players and 8 on Defense. If the recievers can hold onto the ball, this UAB team has the speed to matchup with the Seminoles.

More importantly, FSU has three starters on O-Line out for this game. Rix is a Qb that has never bounced back well after the Miami game (except 2001 - Virginia 43-7 Win). I look for UAB to pressure Rix early and force some costly turnovers. IF the Blazers can score 14 they are in this game and will easily cover.

Last year as large dog +29 against Georgia. UAB played a tight game losing by 3.

UAB 22-9-1 as underdog since 1999

UAB +21.5 (2 units)
