I don't understand why they aren't a top program. I've heard Mike Leach may talk to them. He's from Northern Cali and I think his offense would be popular and is more of a Pac 10 type offense.

I have two good friends that are UCLA alums and follow the program closely. They told me yesterday that Leach is the most-discussed name, with murmurs about Mariucci, Jones from Hawaii, and Rick Neuheisel. Apparently they were interested in Peterson from Boise, but he said no thanks.
How the hell does somebody say "UCLA? nah, I will stay at Boise" I love the Boise program and have for a long time, but cmon. I can't even imagine. If they could somehow get Jones out of Hawaii he would obviously bring some offense to the program.
I've been hearing Rick Neuheisel is the main canidate as of today.
I think Leach would do well @ UCLA.
