UCONN to win it all +308
Get it while the goings goood boys cause Uconn is the best team in the country.

I got it at +800 a while back but it has been haning around 300 for awhile, after they win the big east tournament it HAS to be +200 or better

agree that uconn is the best in the country when theyre on top of their game.

but saint is also correct -- +300 is hardly value in a 65 team tournament.

+300 is horrible....might as well find a ml wager and let your uconn ml ride 6 times in the tourney

no doubt they have the profile of a champ.....most nba players on the court wins

a quick glance at the pinnacle numbers:

washington +8563? they could easily get to the elite 8 with a good run and then start hedging.

michigan state +1604? msu's stock will never be lower. but they're still more than capable of winning it all. odds are pretty generous.

lsu +6155? intriguing team that could be a major headache for the big boys.

yeah 300 isnt great especially in a tourney that is hardly predictable.

If i was going to pick a fav though i would have to pick uconn,

To respond to you gman I like MSU at 1600 mostly because they have the experienced coach and go to guys to get the job done.
But Washington could be +1,000,000 and i wouldnt flush 1 penny on them (maybe 1 or 2 pennies but thats it!) - they are terrible and more overated than gonzaga. Washington hasnt played too many teams and were my pick last year to be the firstever #1 seed knocked out first round. I was 1 round off. And geuss what, they only got worse and slower this year. Zona will go deeper in tourney than Washington
Dukes will be the second round exit this year, they have been anything but invinceable and if they meet a team with a big body or two and get in reddicks face, Duke will be in trouble. They just seem slugish to me and dont have the look of a Duke championship team, they always seem to be fighting back till the last 5 minutes before they take the lead

i can certainly respect your opinion on washington because they have their flaws for sure, but you mean to tell me you can justify west virginia at +1800 and washington at +8000? wvu wouldnt even beat washington on a neutral court let alone win the title. we agree on michigan state and i tend to agree on duke, though knocking them out is never going to be easy.

i will say wv has a legit chance to beat anybody that they are up against because they are mainly a perimeter offensive team(though they can kill u with back cuts if you play them too simple) and if they hit high percentage of 3s like they have in the past they are flat out tough to beat. BUT washington prolly is the better value at +8000 even though i dont see them winning more than a game

You have got to be kidding me if you will take Washington OVER WV on a nuetral court. WV would eat them alive, they are way to quick and play the passing lanes too well on * for a team that has no true point guard

i would be willing to lay up to 4 points as well. that wouldn't be the line, but im saying i would have no problems laying 4 with washington over wvu. west virginia is "too quick"? huh? they are one of the least athletic teams in the top 25. roy would hands down be the best player on the floor. is wvu a more disciplined team? absolutely. can the knock down 3s in a hurry? absolutely. but i don't see how they would beat washington. good debate, even though we obviously disagree.

totally agre about roy being most athletic and prolly the best player, I do stand by WVU being too quick for them because they have one of the best turnover/stl ratios in bball and alot of it is because they get alot of steals. Another point is that washington plays half the caliber teams that WVU plays.

from a pac-10 guy

uw has almost no chance to win 6 straight in march...they are too dumb of a team to win 6 straright

but

brandon roy is a stud and would be the best player on the court in most games......not sure i'* lay 4 with uw over wvu....then again not sure, i'* lay 4 with wvu over uw.......each team is primarily perimeter oriented

washington is getting tourny ready, very good performance tonite. that being said they cannot beat w.v. on a neutral court... glaring advantages to mountaineers... maybe huskies would have a chance if they're point guard dentmon had more seasoning.

If you predicted then to lose opening round then you were 2 rounds off...........UW won 2 games last year and then lost to Louisville in the round of 16..........then Louisville went on to beat WVU to advance to the final four.........

i coulda swore that they lost 2nd round, either way UW was overated at a #1 spot, but i couldnt see them giving three ACC teams #1 spots either with duke, unc, and wake. But that is beside the point, i still see uconn being best team easily and i think that there might be better values than others and hedging futures might not be a bad way to go

Uconn, is clearly on of the best teams in College B-ball this year but to say they are clearly the best team in the country is clearly a reach.....I think they have a collection of some of the best big men in College with (Boone and Armstrong) good shot blockers but foul prone too easily....the High-flying Rudy Gay is clearly one of the best this year in College but he is too passive at times and there bench leaves alot to be desired...outside of Denham Brown having that game that he had yesterday he has pretty much been a no-show this whole season but Marcus Williams is solid at the point and he makes them go and Rashard Anderson is a good shooter but is streaky....with that being said I think if you like the odds that you are getting with them winning the Championship you should bet it but them being clearly the best team in College basketball is a reach...maybe bettter put the best collection of athletes in College basketball and we all know that is not always the best team

I personally think the following have some value if we are talking about getting to an Elite 8 and start hedging type of value (all odds at Pinnacle):

Pitt +3133
Tennessee +2764
Ohio State +1819
Oklahoma +5905
Boston College +6202
North Carolina +4566
Illinois +4381

I really think any of these teams, particularly the Big East and Big Ten teams, can all make a serious run at getting to the Elite 8. Its up for debate which ones have the most value to make that run, but any of these, in the right spot, can win 3 games.

All we do know is that this tournament is very unpredictable so far in advance and it might be best to wait and save our money for a game by game basis...futures bets are a lot of luck.

I agree, but the Huskies better be knocking down those outside shots in the tournament. They have shown some inconsistency in that area this year. UCONN is definitely the most talented team in the country. I don't think anyone would argue that point.
