UConn -4.5 over Butler ***
Huskies won a few weeks ago beating Butler 86-56 But Uconn has been winning on neutral sites and at home This is a true road game at Butler. Also Huskies missing one of its best players Clingan Butler at home is tough to beat at Hinkle but Huskies have depth and Spencer Castle and Newton could be the best 3 gds combo in he country Throw in 6'8 Karaban and the Greek Apostolos at the gd and they are more talented and have depth. Think it might take some time for Huskies to get going but they have to much talent and depth. Plus Papa Hurley will be sitting right behind his son for half time adjustments . Butler is 8-0 at home but think that ends today Huskies have wins over Texas,Zaga, Indiana and North Car with a 4 pt loss to Kansas. Huskies beat the Johnnies and Johnnies beat Butler.

back later with the MAAC games

MAAC is very tough So Many of their stars transferred and not sure if anyone can play defense. Played a 4 team teaser to start the season for me
Manhattan +8.5
St Pete +8.5
Fairfield +3.5
Canisius +2

4 team teaser ** to win ****
Have to breakdown MAAC teams so behind my home work Had a good time last night watching Tex St vs Coastal courtside No crowd Maybe 6 cheerleaders ans 5 dancers Maybe about 500 in the gym I was impressed with Coastal but their gds just put their heads down and drive to the basket regardless and create turnovers Tex St was missing Drennon who was on the bench in street clothes. Coastal IQ is amazing Up a few just kill the clock Everyone was in 5th gear. Driving into crowds in the paint looking to get fouled. Then they foul a 3 pt shooter and he hits all 3 FT's. Although they won[ Coastal} they keep the Bobcats in the game. Think if the coach can gets his kids to play with some order they are a solid team . Their big kids are 6'11,6'10 and can rebound. They have sold gds in Blackmon,Meyers Sanders . They need Ginka their 6'10 center who played for Vir Tech and G Mason not to get 2 fouls in the 1st two minutes of the game.Blackmon was the stud out there. Tex St runs their motion flex offense and although these kids run it nice it ends up being down low with Stafi and Ginka who are twin towers at 6'11 and 6'10 defending the shot which causes the Bobcats to force shots .
