I have looked at this line in every which way. I am taking UCONN for a large play. I think we started to see what UCONN can be like when they are "together" and their coach is healthy. The players egos get in check under Calhoun. Shabazz is a different player under Calhoun. Look at his performance in last year's post season and in this year's big east tourney. He is their motor. Nothing against George Blaney but it's not the same. Napier wasn't the same.

Iowa State is a great story but they are a jump shooting team that struggles against teams with great length. Jump shooting teams can tend to struggle in NCAA arenas. Royce White is one of the most unique players in the country but it won't be enough. UCONN has length and solid guard play. I think this will be a good game but at the end of the day i see a 7-9 point UCONN victory.

Total is climbing a bit in this game. Makes me love UCONN even more. ISU bad on def glass. Watched the Texas game in the Big 12 tourney. They were man handled. UCONN should physically dominate this game.
