2009 record 19-11 +30.32 units

I think I've lost all of my .5unit plays except for 1. I'm something like 1 and 8 on them so fade away on my smalls.

I'm going ahead and getting this now.

Almeida -155 2units

At +300 I think Forrest is a good bet, I just can't decide how much. If Forrest decides to take Silva down and GNP him then I think he will win. If for some unknown reason he decides to stand and bang, it will be lights out.

Much as i hate laying the odds i have to go with Silva. If Forrest comes in with a legitamate gameplan like he did with Rampage then he has a shot but i can see him falling back to boxing and getting knocked out.

Penn/Florian is to tough to call. Who knows with BJ. Is he still pissed about the GSP fight and didn't train very hard? Is he gonna send a message to show he is back? It is the same old thing with all BJ fights. He looks slightly better in all area's but Kenny is tough and as smart as they come.

Anyone know anything about this Johny Hendrix kid? I have to think Amir is gonna be a bit nervous in his first fight since the show.

Neer sure is one cocky fuker and i think he takes this in a very close fight. Odds to high for my liking.

The Hendricks vs Saddolah fight is a tough one. Amir has already proved he can beat a really good wrestler but Hendricks is a step up(IMO)in wrestling compared to Dolloway. If Amir wins this fight I will be very impressed with him but if I had to go one way or the other I would be on Hendricks.

Sponge, I know for sure Hendricks trains at Couture's so I'm not sure if Amir does or not. There's an interview where Hendricks talks about getting KO'd by Baroni and then talks about his training at Couture's place. He also trains in BJJ at one other place in Vegas.

have already gone 1 unit on Almeida though I am beginning to think that could be a mistake. He is planning on moving to 170. Both guys are grapplers though Almeida is clearly the more superior but I wonder if he will have a problem with the size of Grove

I like KenFlo against BJ but as of yet not put any money down on him. If he can survive the first 2 rounds he could win

Like Forrest. He was underdog against Shogun and Rampage and pulled thr on those

Also like Riddle. he is tough and always improving. Mccrory should be too much for Howard and Villefort is a good bet

Lay, this is what i came up with.
Amir went on to win the tournament and the title of the Ultimate Fighter. He is currently a member of Xtreme Couture together with friend and coach Forrest Griffin.

Hendrix is said to fight for "Team Take Down" I never heard of them. I did this quick tho

Team take down are the guys from Okie St that made a team name together. They all train at Couture's. It really doesn't matter though, I won't be on either and if I was I would probably be on the wrong side.

Yeah, he does have a great wrestling background. All three of the guys from that crew do. It will be interesting to see who can add to their game and who is actually a tough guy. Hendricks seems to like getting hit so I'm thinking he has a great mentality for MMA.

2-2 +1.38 units

Kenny Florian +206 1 unit

Betting the elephant in the room. I see this matchup much closer and agree that Florian is more likely to be the winner if the fight goes the distance.

definitely worth a look at better than 2-1....i understand that penn is already a legend...but,i like florian`s style......he`s going to move and try and go rounds...he`s very calm and confident ...he thinks in the cage..yeah,he looks like a geek, but he`s not out-sized at 155 like he was at 170...

his cardio is excelent..b.j.`s is a ??(imo)...

penn should be the fave,no doubt...but he`s coming off a fairly brutal beatdown from gsp....

i parred it with thiago silva over keith("the hills have eyes")jardine and am getting 6+ to 1...

many solid opportunities for straight and parlay wagers...

also going to do silva and dos santos over crocop.....

g.l.

Saw the countdown show last night and it looks like BJ is serious again by moving his camp but if he was so serious why only two months? How much better cardio wise can u get in two months? The biggest fight of his career with GSP and even he himself admits to not even remembering round 3 and 4 because he said he was done aka gassed. I can see this line dropping come fight time. Way to risky to take Penn at these prices or even maybe also at 110.

Think massive value in taking the round 4/5 props in the Penn fight. Although I'd love to see Florian beat him in 10 seconds:cool:

How can you not take Griffin at those odds:scared
