Overall 55-41 +51.34 units

Opinions 18-19 +2.75(always .5 unit)

Hendricks -135 6units :scared

Maxing this bet out. Would go 7 units but the -35 makes it only 6. I'll give my reasons later in the week but I LOVE this fight.

I don't think I've been bigger than 1 and 2 units here in there with a 4 on Vitor last fight. I forgot how much the nerves kick in on big plays.

Adding

Opinion .5unit

Marquardt +145 .5unit

I like Nate here but not enough to play him for any good size play. Jake is a tough nutt to crack but IMO Nate will be able to throw enough punches to win by points. I would love to see Nate let loose with some leg kicks to the front leg but I think that might be asking too much from him.

Let me start by saying that currently I am neither for or against this pick. In looking at this matchup, Condit has a huge reach advantage. IMO he is the far superior technical striker. Yes, Hendrix has the edge in wrestling/takedowns but Condit is no slouch here and definately is dangerous off his back should the fight go there. Condit proved clearly in the GSP fight that if taken down he is very hard to control and keep on the ground. Hendrix has huge power in his hands ( well one hand) but that is it. He throws no kicks, knees, etc. It just seems that if Hendrix game plan is to stand with Condit he has limited ways off hurting Condit where as Condit has many weapons. This is going to be the largest man Hendrix has ever been in the Octogan with ( Hendrix fought and beat Alex Serdukov who was similar size early in career and Sadollah while being the same height had a 75" reach)..... Condits kicks and reach with his arms and legs combined with the versatility off his attack and he's a very cerebral fighter is going to make this a tough fight for Johnny (who I like alot as a person and fighter).
I would be interested to know why you feel so strongly about Hendrix in this matchup? ty/gl

Samson, I don't have a ton of time so I'll post some today and get back on tomorrow.

I'm on Hendricks big because of my overall feel for him. I love taking guys for big plays when they have KO power, good wrestling and a good chin. If this were a 5 rounder I would still be on Hendricks but not quite as big. Because of how in the past the UFC judges have scored fights I feel like the TD ability of Hendricks will come in to play. I don't care if he does any damage or even keeps Condit down, I just care that he can take him down. I love Hendricks hands. I don't think he's the better striker overall but I do think that he has fighters worried becuase of his power. Much like Hendo use to be, everyone worried about the big punch. When you have the big punch to worry about as well as TDs then you have a lot to be watching for. You mentioned size. IMO for someone with very strong wrestling background that will look to shoot in, the height of Carlos might be an advantage. Some may say that's crazy but Carlos will have to cover his base not get taken down. His hands will drop when he feels like Hendricks is coming in and that usually isn't a good thing. Takes a lot of the reach advantage away. If I'm constantly diving in for your thighs, how tall you are doesn't matter to me. All it means is you're having to come down lower to stop it.

Carlos is a good fighter and I love watching his fights. I just think that Hendricks is next in line to be the WW champ.

After that interview above.......I think Zuffa has had enough of Nick.

Nick will get cut after GSP beats him.

Zuffa doesn't want to deal with Nick and his shit any longer:facepalm:

I mean who would:shrug:

Can you imagine having a guy like Nick Diaz working for you?
