card looks to be loaded with potential barking doggies.....story and pennington are possibilities.....

wonder if lawler being a lefty will give hendricks headaches?....the one loss(pre-gsp) on hendricks` record was to fellow lefty story.....gotta think lawler will work exclusively on takedown defense...

if he can keep hendricks from taking him down,he has excellent cardio and a rock for a chin.....could turn into a battle of attrition(if that`s the case, lawler has a puncher`s chance)...

at anywhere from +300 on up,robbie might be worth a flyer...

fun card....

I agree...I think if you put 10 bucks on every underdog you will be in profit.

But........I think Jessica Andrade will beat Raquel Pennington.

As stated earlier........Lawler odds are tempting.

well, andrade is a -280 fave,so you aren`t alone in your opinion...i just couldn`t pass up taking a shot with the bigger girl probably getting better training than she`s ever had before...i thought she was hesitant vs moddiaferri(a walkover win)....andrade`s last fight was also basically a walkover vs a soft rosi sexton...but i liked what she did vs baysler on the show...

just seemed like enough ?? at those odds to take a flyer vs a girl who `s tough but probably should be fighting in a lower weight class......

edit:...am i mixing up pena and pennington?....let me look a little further...

edit again....lol......i had pena circled when i heard this fight was made and she dropped out because of injury...pennington replaced her(i got the two of them mixed up when they were on the show together)....still take a flyer on pennington(pena would have been the better play, though) based on her height and natural size.....but,pennington tends to get pushed against the cage in her fights...doesn`t use her natural size and length as much as she should(even though she has very good striking technique)...she seems to lack a killer instinct...will be ashamed if she lets the aggressive smaller girl(andrade)push her around, but it could happen...

wth....leaving the small wager in at +240...

Everybody made weight (except for one).....

Renee Forte weighs in at 157 pounds and misses weight, pathetic:nono::nono:

Line on Lawler went nuts after Hendricks weighed in.....odds went WAY down:scared

Good conversation :0003

I wasn't a believer in Pena until she beat Pennington. I really think Pennington is solid and hopefully this lesbian is on a mission since losing to Pena.

I love Hendricks in the Main Event, even after having to go back and cut the weight a 2nd time. It sounded relatively painless and I hope it pissed him off. Hendricks is a "perfect champion" for the UFC. Highlight reel power with the wrestling to shutdown the lay 'n prayers.

GL tonight.

I'm going to the fights tonight but won't have anything on any of them. I LOVE Hendricks and honestly think he should be champ right now(thought he beat GSP) but the line is keeping me away. I also feel like Lawler has a chance in this one. He's at a peak in his career and with his KO power there's too much of a chance for me to risk with the big line.

So torn on the main event tonight.....:sadwave:

On one hand you have my favorite fighter currently working in the UFC in Johnny Hendricks.
On the other, my hometown fighter, Robbie Lawler.
Lawler is from Bettendorf, Iowa, the same hometown as the man that got him interested in the sport at age 16, Pat Miletich. He is truly the last tie to the great run that MFS enjoyed with guys like Jens Pulver, Matt Hughes, and Tim Sylvia and of course the boss himself, Pat Militech.
Think Lawler has a good chance in this fight and I still may toss some beer money at those tasty odds on him.

Enjoy the fights tonight, fellas.....

don`t know why i get those two mixed up(pena.pennington)....pena definitely the better of the two and if she were fighting ahdrade i`d be all over her at plus odds....it`s a very small throwaway wager for me(i`m staying with the wager because my "feminine side" is a lesbian....:SIB).......think story is the much better doggie wager of two....

don`t think krylov has seen a final bell in any of his fights and st prieux is getting increasingly dangerous as he gains experience...was thinking about parring "fight doesn`t go the distance" with something safe...

g.l.,brother...

Andrade v Pennington - The little bit I looked at this fight

Andrade is pretty good on the ground and isn't afraid to pull guard to take it to the ground

Pennington is a slow stalker type fighter who ends up in the clinch quite a bit

I think Andrade will be able to take her down and get the win via submission. Where I give the advantage to Pennington is if Andrade ends up on her back, pulling guard or otherwise. Pennington is much bigger and Andrade may not be able to control her and Pennington's ground and pound is above average.

That being said - This is a pretty big girl that Andrade handles here and fights at about the same pace as Pennington in my eyes
