Fight Card
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira
Phil Davis vs. Anthony Johnson
Tim Boetsch vs. Luke Rockhold
Yancy Medeiros vs. Jim Miller
Andre Fili vs. Max Holloway
Joseph Benavidez vs. Timothy Elliott
Takanori Gomi vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg
Bethe Correia vs. Jessamyn Duke
Joe Ellenberger vs. Vagner Rocha
Charlie Brenneman vs. Danny Castillo
Chris Beal vs. Patrick Williams

Going to be very interesting to see what Anthony Johnson does on his return to UFC? Not an easy 1st fight for him on his return that is for sure.

I was all set to play bobby green vs miller(two fighters heading in different directions,imo)........loved how green`s been improving and gaining confidence....was roughly a toss-up....

if davis can beat gustafsson/Machida and lil` nog,it sure looks like Johnson will need to land a lottery shot to beat him....I remember koscheck taking johnson`s back(if memory serves me)and then submitting him....

he has a puncher`s chance, but I had to par davis at -175(great odds) with Floyd and may take another bite.....keep your damn chin tucked,phil......,...

Went for the O3.5 in the Jones vs Teixeira at +140.
Teixeira is a tough fighter and I think he can stay there until the championship rounds. Rampage, Evans, Belfort and Gus all did with Jones and I think Teixeira belongs in that company.

Very tempted on Gomi as my second all time fav fighter but going to ignore that one. Isaac has never been stopped with strikes but he just turned 36. Gomi only 6 months or so younger. Seems like a perfect fight for Gomi on paper.

also a huge gomi fan from the old pride days...the guy was pure excitement....not sure I`ve ever seen a bigger head on that sized human being(that damned thing should have it`s own solar system)....probably why he was able to stand in the pocket and trade with anybody who dared back in the day....

just not sure what`s left in the tank.....valle flagg has a penchant for winning close decisions by doing just enough......interesting fight...

wondering how brenneman beats Castillo..looks to me like the wrestling should be a wash and castillo has better hands...unfortunately,so do the oddsmakers...I thought that brenneman might be naturally bigger, but,i didn`t see it at the weigh in...

I saw bert`s take on miller/Medeiros....if I remember correctly, medeiros was giving the Russian fits until his thumb gave out(granted it didn`t last long)......this might be a tougher fight for miller than we think....I was hoping it would hit +200 when it was +180 but it moved in the other direction.....so for me,i`ll pass(might be just as well...miller has a big edge in experience)....g.l. bert..

just don`t love this card from a gambling perspective now that green pulled out....hoping that davis fights smart...
