Lots of people going against Hunt due to age, weight cut, altitude and 3 week camp. What this man has achieved in the last 7 fights has amazed me. At these odds a small play has to be considered.

In Ellenberger's 12 UFC fights he has only lost to high level fighters - Condit, Kampmann, MacDonald and Lawler. This would be a huge win for Gastelum who I'm not sure belongs at this weight.

just to have a little action,took a flyer on morales +160...not highly recommending this as it`s on rodriguez` home soil.....wouldn`t feel right if I didn`t have at least one lousy wager on the card.....small....

Good luck to us all tonight. Lackluster card with a bunch of guys I've never heard of. Top three fights should be nice though.

Dennis Bermudez -180 over Ricardo Lamas for one unit - think Bermudez suffocating style matches up well vs Lamas playing the distance game. Think this is likely a standing affair unless Bermudez wants to wrestle? Though if I remember correctly, Lamas jitz is pretty solid.

Jose Quinonez -240 over Alejandro Perez for two units - didn't these guys already fight each other? Quinonez absolutely smashed Perez and likely will do it again.

I read they actually fought twice before (even though sherdog only lists one)..from what I could find,quinones is 2-0 vs perez........I saw it on the intertoobz so,i can`t really verify the second fight...

IMO it looked like a modified apple-choke. Had Chewy Ybarra teach me this at a seminar a few weeks ago... where you put your closed fist on the opponent's adam's apple, wrap around and lift up like a guillotine. Wow that was a nutty fight.

this guy benitez beat undefeated diego rivas during the tourney...he then stepped up to fight morales....morales beat benitez by u.d(benitez looks talented to me)......that`s one of the reasons why I took a small flyer with morales against rodroguez....he had a tougher road to the final....and on rodriguez` record,none of his listed wins at sherdog were vs anybody with a single win on their record...

of course home court is obviously very big here...and you can probably throw most of the analysis out the window at a venue like this(guys in their first ufc fight).....

well,that`s why I took a mini-shot with the Nicaraguan....:shrug:...probably all a waste of time...:142smilie
