There are too many big favs on this fight card for me. The only fight i'm looking to take is the GSP Penn fight. GSP is one of my favorite fighters but I think there is some value in Penn. More than likely I'm going to just sit back and enjoy the two of them battle, and I truely feel like it's going to be a battle.

yeah..BJ Penn will return again in the octagon after two years and he will be facing off GSP. Some say that BJ Penn is one of MMA's best, pound for pound! Hmm.. as for GSP, he is one of the world's most well-rounded fighters.

Their match is also what gets me excited, Rich Franklin and David Loiseau's fight is a thumbs up! Rich is a disastrous player, Penn should give out his best punches! lol...

Penn should be favored. Saw a local interview with him last night. he is hungry and will overcome the fury in the first minute. Penn by submission rear naked choke. GLTA

Have you heard the news that Diego Sanchez and Kenny Florian's fight has been canceled. From what I've read, Diego is sick right now and he is about to visit his gastro internist.. I saw it on ufc.tv..

BJ PENN! is the loser... by split decision. :142crying
close fight, Penn won 1st rd for sure. GSP more active in 2nd, but not by much imo. Same in the 3rd, but I guess it could've gone either way. BJ just couldn't get top position on the ground and gave up a few takedowns. Mostly a slow standup/clinch fight with BJ occasionally on the bottom. I would've scored it a draw, GSP's face was bleeding badly after the 1st.

You know the Penn GSP fight was one of those fights thats like a football game where at the end of it you kind of don't feel like they decided anything, it just ended. I agree with the decision and I'm happy GSP won but what a weird fight. In the first round Penn looked like he was unstoppable and then in the next 2 rounds GSP did exactly what he had to do to win. He used his reach and quickness. I was very suprised that it didn't go to the ground more. I haven't seen fight many times but I thought for sure he would want to go to the ground. To be honest, I still don't know what to think of the fight. I do know that GSP is a tough fighter and it's going to take a big time effort for Hughes to beat him. That will be the fight of the year and to me the most anticipated fight ever. Even more than Liddell Couture.
